ENGAGE organized an online training event focused on Intellectual Property, Use, and Exploitation of Software. The event featured Dr. Janine Fischer, responsible for IP management and licensing at DESY and project leader for the “DESY Software Innovation Hub,” and Dr. Stephanie Maier, a member of DESY’s Innovation and Technology Transfer Department (ITT) specializing in inventions and patents. The event covered topics such as intellectual property (IP), intellectual property rights (IPR), IP protection, patent protection, and the use, transfer, and exploitation of research software.
