Marie Sklodowska-Curie PhD fellowships <\/strong><\/p><\/center> in Computational Physics and Engineering<\/strong><\/p><\/center>\n\n\n\n The project \u201cEnabling the next generation of computational physicists and engineers\u201d (ENGAGE)<\/strong> is an interdisciplinary, intersectoral and multi-institutional project offering quality training to a total of 20 doctoral students in the fields of Computational High Energy Physics, Multiscale Systems and Synchrotron Light Applications. It aims to develop students\u2019 competencies in High-Performance Computing, in methodologies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science approaches and Quantum Computing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Applications for the remaining positions are accepted until the 30th of April 2023. Candidates with experience in lattice gauge theories, analysis of large data sets, Monte Carlo simulations, quantum computing, simulation algorithms, experience in high-performance computing or any related field will be favoured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n (see projects 7-13 at <\/strong>https:\/\/engage.cyi.ac.cy\/?page_id=43#phdprojects<\/a>): Candidates must hold a Master\u2019s degree (or equivalent) in physics, chemistry, applied mathematics, engineering, computational science\/informatics from reputable Universities, or a related field with outstanding performance record. Proven computational and numerical skills, knowledge of a modern programming language and\/or experience in high-performance computing (using e.g., GPU-acceleration) are desirable.
