ENGAGE PhD fellows, Sisem Ektirici and Naveen Sabramanian, joined The Cyprus Institute team to bring the latest tech news to children and students during the European Researchers Night organised on the 29th of September 2023. The annual event is taking place simultaneously in 350 cities across Europe and beyond and serves as a powerful platform to promote research, technology, and innovation, attracting more than 1.5 million participants each year.
The two ENGAGE fellows were part of the “Using Computers to Model the Real World” activity, explaining to young people the properties of new materials, understanding how fluids flow and how to teach computers to learn!
